South Carolina Early Childhood Association (SCECA) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors and members to our website, and those providing contact information.

SCECA collects and uses personal information about you only when you voluntarily provide such information when you register for a SCECA/SECA Membership or Event.

SCECA collects, retains, and uses personal information when it is necessary to products, services and other opportunities requested by a user.

E-mail addresses obtained are shared with our affiliate organization, Southern Early Childhood Association (SECA) through Wild Apricot, our website and membership platform.

E-mail or other information requests sent to SCECA may be maintained to respond to requests and to communicate updates. 

Third-party applications 

SCECA may provide links to sites maintained by third parties. We do not operate or control in any respect any information, products, materials or services that third parties may provide. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. 

Financial Information and Payment Processing

When you make a payment through our platform, your payment details, including credit card information, are processed securely through AffiniPay, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

AffiniPay is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), ensuring the secure handling of credit card information. During the payment process, the following information may be collected and shared with AffiniPay to facilitate the transaction:

• Your name

• Billing address

• Credit card or other payment details

• Contact information

We take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality and security of any information collected during the payment process. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security and recommend that you monitor your account statements for unauthorized activity.
